Stanley David Cartner, 68, of Jamestown, died at 9:50 a.m. Thursday (March 2, 2017) at UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa.

He was born in Frewsburg on October 12, 1948 the son of Roland and Janice Maline Cartner.

He had been employed in the maintenance department at the YMCA and previously employed at Ethan Allen and the Resource Center.

Survivors include his fiancée, Bonnie Vincent, Step daughter, Etonia Raj (Karl Strassel), five grandchildren, Robert & Earl Matteson, Brionia and Mia Raj and John Strassel, a brother, Roland Cartner, two sisters, Helen & Sharon Cartner, all of Jamestown. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Arcelicia Miller.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev. Chloe Smith, will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends for two hours prior to the funeral service.
