Georganna Abarzua was 12 days away from 82 when she left this world to dance with the angels in heaven on March 17, 2017. She was born on March 29, 1935 in Columbus Ohio and travelled west to Los Angeles, California where she and her husband Julio raised their family of 4 wonderful children.
She moved to Las Vegas in 1990 where she enjoyed a lifestyle that included plenty of time with family, many visits to local buffets and some late evenings at the penny slots. She enjoyed a wonderful career as a Manager with McDonalds for nearly 30 years. She is known for her loving smile, her infectious laughter and her never ending love for beautiful jewelry, dancing and having fun! She was a devoted wife to Julio for 62 years!
Georganna was preceded in death by her parents: Reah Mae Baker and Larry Martin. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Julio; her son Herb; her daughters Julie, Rosie, and Christina; her sister Doris; her grandchildren Bobby, Chris, Eric, Ashley, Matthew, Cecilia, Austin, Angela, and Ryan; and her great-grandchildren Willie, Shane, Jacob, Michael, Gabby, Mona, Johnny, Bella, Brady and Brandon as well as her numerous friends and extended family members.
