On November 3, 2009, Barbara Jean (Petross) Bullington completed her tasks on earth as devoted wife of 64 years to Arthur E. Bullington, Sr., loving mother of Kay Hammett, Bob, Bud, Tom, Jim, and Chuck Bullington; cherished mother-in-law of Loretta, Rosalind and Lisa, sister to James F. Petross and beloved grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Born on July 26, 1929, Barbara devoted her life to Christ and her family. With her tasks on earth complete, she will now watch from above to see the fruits of her labors here on earth. The family invites those who wish to say goodbye and to wish her happiness in her future endeavors above, to attend services on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home, 107 W. Napoleon St., Sulphur, LA."

On Dec 30, 1995 Arthur and Barbara celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends at the Maplewood Church of Christ, Sulphur, LA. They were married Jan 1, 1946. They are the parents of six children.
