Margret Ruiz, age 78, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed from this life to the presence of our loving Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 13, 2017. She was born May 18, 1939 to Mr. Ponsanio Andrada and Mrs. Maria Pena Andrada. She worked for Heibert’s restaurant for 25 years and then became owner of Ray’s Old Fashion Kitchen where she enjoyed cooking for her customers. She embraced life every day with so much passion.
Those left to morn her passing include 2 sons, Ray A. Holguin and wife Annabella Holguin of Las Cruces, New Mexico, son Luis A. Holguin and wife Anita Holguin of Montgomery, Texas; two daughters Rebekah Andrade and Husband Robby Tellez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Patricia Holguin and husband Gerald Moen. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two sisters and many nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her parents: two brothers and a sister.
A rosary will be held at La Paz- Graham’s Funeral Home, 555 West Amador, Las Cruces, New Mexico on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Church 1327 N Miranda Street, Las Cruces, New Mexico at 12:10pm Inurnment of Cremains will take place at a later date.
