Donnie was the first born son of Alva E. "Boots" and Bertha Emma (Oliver) Castor. He died in the service of his Country. He was Career Air Force, a Navigator on a KC-97 refueling plane. He was stationed at Walker AFB, Roswell, NM, and was killed when his plane hit Gray Mountain in Arizona. He was 24 yrs old. Donnie and his wife had just had a baby girl, Vicki Lynn, 2 days old when his plane crashed.
Donnie was a devoted son to his parents and loving brother to his siblings Jim, Dale, and Judy. Donnie loved his Lord and his family.
