Maleta Faye Paramore, of Chickasha, OK, was born on September 3, 1924 (according to her birth certificate) but October 3, 1924 (according to her family) in Anadarko, Oklahoma the daughter of Leonard and Belva (Alsup) Sanders. She passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 95.
After graduation from Chickasha High School, she moved to Whittier, CA for a few years before returning to Oklahoma. She and Jack Allen Paramore were married June 26, 1942 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. Maleta worked for Public Service as a bookkeeper for many years before retiring.
She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Chickasha and in her earlier years played the piano for her Sunday school class.
She enjoyed playing solitaire, going out to eat, feeding and watching the birds and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and a sister, Anna Mae Blevins.
Maleta is survived by her nieces: Peggy Forbis and husband, Gary, of Tyler, TX; Deanna Manning and husband, Michael, of Yorba Linda, CA; Pamela Seals-Potter and husband, Aaron, of New Braunfels, TX; Carolyn Blevins of Chickasha, OK; Nephew, Gary Blevins and wife, Cyndi, of Weed, CA;
And her great nieces and nephews.
