Dina Annesi, 89 of Monongahela, died Friday, December 21, 2018 in Premier Washington Health Center, Washington. Born July 19, 1929 in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Agenore "Gino' and Josephine (Anselmi) Annesi. A 1947 graduate of the former Donora High School, Dina worked for over 25 years for the Alcoa Co. in Pittsburgh until her retirement in 1981. Over the years Dina enjoyed bowling in various leagues with her friends, she was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish (St. Anthony Church) in Monongahela. The last immediate surviving member of her family she is survived by two nephews Mark (Sherry) Conte of Washington, PA and Michael Conte of the state of California; a great niece Christina (Cody) Warren of Monongahela; and a great nephew, Michael (Jennifer) Conte of Washington, PA. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were a sister Elsa Conte. Friends will be received at the Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com from 5-7pm Wednesday. Blessing prayers will begin in the funeral home at 9:30am Thursday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial that will celebrated in St. Damien of Molokai Parish, at 10m with Fr. Patrick Barkey as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
