Lilly Ann Delk, 61 of Gordonsville, died Sunday, September 6, 2015, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born July 23, 1954, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Sherman Donald Delk, Sr. and Jeannette Suchomski Delk.
Lilly is survived by her fiancé, Jim Thatcher of Gordonsville; two daughters, Misty L. Cauble of Afton, and Kristy Hart of Winchester; one brother, Sherman "Donnie" Delk, Jr. of Yulee, Florida; one sister, Karen Fowler of Charlottesville; stepmother, Marjorie Delk of Barboursville; two grandchildren, Madison F. Hart and Garrett A. Hart, both of Winchester, two nephews, Joey Fowler of Charlottesville, and Robert Bales of Yulee, Florida; and a niece, Amanda Furce of Ocala, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Pkwy, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
