Todd Ray Cathey, 18, of Amarillo died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Amarillo South Church with Kyle Paris, pastor, officiating. Private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Todd was born Sept. 8, 1988, to Gerald and Marjorie Cathey. He graduated from Randall High School in May 2007.

He loved motocross, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors. Todd was a loving son, brother and friend who accepted Jesus Christ in July of 2000. He was working as a landscaper with his father and was co-owner of G & G Yard and Tractor Service, Inc.

Survivors include his parents, Gerald and Margie Cathey; a sister, Katie of Amarillo; his grandparents, Don and Marilyn Hershinger and Mavis Cathey, all of Amarillo; three aunts, Mandi and Randy Browning of Amarillo, Connie and Pat Britten of Groom and Garry and Bunny Cathey of Amarillo; and eight cousins.

The family suggests memorials be to Hidden Falls Ranch, P.O. Box 136, Wayside, TX 79094; or the Golden Spread Emmaus Community, 3004 Sweetgum Lane, Amarillo, TX 79124.
