Mr. Marvin (Bolivar) E. Meeker 74, a resident of Trenton, MO. died Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 8:06 P.M. at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton.
The body was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton. No services are planned.
Mr. Meeker was born July 25, 1945 at Osgood, Mo. the son of Alvia W. and Trena G. Paulson Meeker. Before retiring he was employed as the weatherization director for the former Green Hills Community Action Agency. His hobbies include fishing, going to flea markets and antiquing.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Trenton.
On August 13, 1967 he was married to Rebecca R. Dunn. She preceded him in death on Feb. 1, 1982.
Then on October 30, 1982 he was married to Sondra K. Clark at Trenton.
His survivors include his wife Sondra of the home. One daughter, Sarah McGuire, Trenton. One step-son, Jeff Corbin and wife Tami, Trenton. Three grandsons, Devin McGuire, Bryan McGuire, and Chad Corbin all of Trenton. Two sisters, Mary Munday and husband Bernie, Trenton, and Martha Leasor, Laredo, MO. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant sister Betty Meeker, one sister Avis Eastwood, four brothers Alvia W. Meeker, Jr., Eldon Meeker, Martin Meeker, Elisha Meeker and his step-father Harry Hulse.
