Services for William R. (Bill) Rosenbaum, 71, of Fremont who died June 7, 1992 at Merrick Manor in Fremont are 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9 at the Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Terman officiating. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

William R. (Bill) Rosenbaum was born April 14, 1921 at Kennard, where he grew up. He had attended Colby School in the country and graduated from Arlington High School. He also graduated from the University of Nebraska Agriculture College.

During World War II he served in the United States Army Air Corps from 1942-1945. After the service he was a mechanic for John Deere dealerships throughout Nebraska and also farmed. He moved to Fremont from the farm at Blair in 1990.

He married Olive “Ollie” Wheeler at Arlington May 16, 1947. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Larry R. Rosenbaum of Lewisville, Texas and Robert L. Rosenbaum of Valparaiso, Nebraska; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
