Mrs. Caroline Clements, widow of the late James D. Clements, died suddenly Monday morning at her home near Belroi, aged 73 years July 6th last. Death was ascribed to an attack of accute indigestion.

Mrs. Clements had not been in very good health since the death of her husband several months ago, but was feeling well as usual Monday morning and ate quite a hearty breakfast. Shortly thereafter she complained of pain and died at 10:30 a.m. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Bellamy's church and was conducted by Rev. J. E. DeShazo, assisted by Rev. Wm. B. Lee.

Mrs. Clements, whose maiden name was Caroline Elizabeth Bridges, is survived by two sons, two daughters and a number of other relatives. Her children, all of whom are grown and married, are William Winfield and James Frank Clements, Mrs. Irma Stanley German and Mrs. Florence Gertrude Gray. The deceased was a faithful wife, loving mother and kind neighbor, and was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends.
