Mrs. Seeds was a native of Texola, Oklahoma and a resident of Norman, Oklahoma for over 50 years before moving to Shreveport at the beginning of 2003 to be near her daughter.
Mrs. Seeds was preceded in death by her daughters Betty Joyce Rea; three sisters, Novella Douglas, Oklahoma Lucille Cocke and Lola Gene Chaudoin; two brothers, Donald and William Howard.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Marler and her husband, John; four grandsons, William Chris Marler, Kevin Craig Marler, Vernon Earl Rea and Randall Kevin Rea; four nieces; one nephew and a host of other relatives.
