"Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mahoney, 80, of 7 White St., Clark Mills, sister of Christopher Brown of Rome, died Saturday in St. Luke's-Memorial Hospital Center, New Hartford, after an illness of six weeks. Born in Kirkland, Sept. 8, 1887, she was a daughter of James and Esther Kay Brown. She was married to Joseph Mahoney in Clark Mills, April 13, 1908. He died in 1957. Mrs. Mahoney was a member of the Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills, its Altar-Rosary Society, and the 600 Club. Besides her brother in Rome, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Esther Zuccaro, Utica, four sons, Bernard L., Francis, and Thomas Mahoney, all of Clark Mills, and Joseph Mahoney, Whitesboro; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, and at 9:30 in the Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills.
