Sally Vess Harris Brown, 88, of Taylorsville, IL., formerly of Stanford, died Tuesday Jan 8 at Meadow Manor Nursing Home in Taylorsville, IL.
A native of Stanford, she was born Jan. 1,1914 to the late John S. and Mary Eliza Frazier Harris. She was a farmer, former nurses aid, member of the Stanford Church of Christ, and widow of Brad Brown.
Survivors include two sisters, Melavee Saylor of Waynesburg, and Elizabeth Harris of Taylorsville, IL. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan 12 at the McKnight Funeral Home Chapel in Crab Orchard with Bro. Virgil Horseman officiating. Burial was in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
