ROBERT LYNN IS SUDDENLY STRICKEN

Many friends in Fairfield were inexpressibly shocked this morning to learn that Robert D. Lynn a well known resident of this city had dropped dead at his home, 604 North Main street, while in the act of lighting a fire in the stove after he had risen about 6:15 o'clock this morning. According to the family Mr. Lynn arose at the usual time and while arranging to fix the fire his wife heard him fall and upon hastening to his side found him dead. Heart failure was the cause of death.

Mr. Lynn was 71 years of age and had lived in Jefferson county many years, residing on a farm northwest of this city until about twelve years ago when he moved with his family to Fairfield. He is survived by his aged wife and five children who are as follows: Mrs. Elizabeth Messer of Libertyville; Mrs. Mollie Hendricks (sic) of Richwoods; Ross Lynn of Weldon, Russell Lynn of Burlington and Clarence Lynn of this city.

Owing to the fact that relatives are expected to arrive this afternoon there have been no definite arrangements made for the funeral. The services will probably be held Monday some time at the residence.
