Wyx [Wix] was the son of Lt. Eliphilet Seely and Sarah Holly. Wyx married Mary St. John on 4 November 1756 in Stamford.

Update:
Wyx and Mary are not recorded on Lakeview Cemetery records in New Canaan, CT. Their placement there was based upon Seely family historical documents, referenced by living relative.

While there are 21 'Seely' at Lakeview Cemetery the majority are 'Seeley' family, 35 by count, and St. John family, 54. Wyx Seely (1811 - 1865) and wife Charlotte Ccrissey (1808 - 1880) are in Section A.

Parade Hill Cemetery records do not list Wyx and Mary there, along with his parents. They are not recorded at Spring Grove in Darien where their son Wyx/Weeks is.

Further research is ongoimg to determine their final disposition. Possibly across the border in Westchester County: Pound Ridge cemeteries as they lived there, Vista, etc.

If anyone has definitive information on their burial please advise.
