Franklin E. Adams, 87, Lawrence, will be Monday at Mount Hope Chapel in Topeka. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Adams died Thursday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1902, at Groton, S.D. He moved from Wheaton to Topeka in 1938. He moved to Lawrence in 1988.
Mr. Adams was a member of the former Wheaton Congregational Church.
On May 21, 1928, he married Laura Belle Pinick, at Holton. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Donna R. Noller, Lawrence; a son, Dale F. Adams, Grandview, Mo.; two sisters, Eunice Tibbetts and Vivian Harrington, both of Wamego; three grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
