Dr. Bradley was the first publisher of the Granite Journal (later Folsom Telegraph); a large property owner in Folsom; he also was the owner of Bradley, Berdan & Co. who engineered and built the ditch and canal system taking water from the South Fork of the American River and Weber Creek, much of the system still being in use by EID today.
In that his eldest son was buried in Diamond Springs and there is no documentary evidence suggesting she was buried in Folsom, she is presumed to have been buried next to her son, Joseph S. Bradley who died five years earlier.
