Houston, Texas - Charles R. Kane, 46, formerly of St. Clair, died Monday, July 16, 1990.
He was born Sept, 23, 1944, in Detroit and had been a resident of Houston fro 16 years. "Charles was our good buddy and our family communicator."
Mr. Kane was a self-employed interior designer.
He is survived by two sons, James and Kevin and a friend and associate, Terry Thomas all of Houston, Texas; his mother, Elizabeth Kane of Port Huron;10 brothers, James Jr. and David of Smiths Creek, Al of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Richard of Marysville, Michael of Marine City, Paul and John of Port Huron, Stephen Livingston of Richmond, Harry of Algonac and Kenneth of Houston, Texas; seven sisters, Patricia Gehrig of Grand Junction, Col., Jackie Ingles of Marine City, Joanne Kane, Mary Weiss and Elizabeth Marzolf all of Port Huron, Liana Haeck of Sanford, N.C. and Kathleen Kerswell of Yale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anne Kane and two brothers, William and Patrick.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday in St. Edwards-On-The-Lake Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas F. Esper, pastor, will officiate. Burial was Wednesday, July 18, 1990, at Forest Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
