Ila Frances Adams, 89, passed away on January 12, 2020 at her Lamar home. She was born on June 23, 1930 in Villegreen, Colorado to James Eil & Ruby Pearl (Porterfield) White. She married William Glen Adams on October 29, 1946 in Raton, New Mexico; he preceded her in death on January 29, 2003.

Frances enjoying spending with her family. In her past time she enjoyed crocheting and putting together puzzles.

She is survived by her children, William Ray Adams of Lamar; James Leroy (Randa) Adams of Washington; Dickie Lee Adams of Rockvale and Brenda Kay (Rodney) Steckman of Pueblo; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Ruth) White of La Junta and Jack (Earline) White of Dove Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Eli & Ruby Pearl White; husband, William Glen Adams; sons, Jerry Dean & Clifford Eugene Adams; brother and sister-in-law, Paul (Nancy) White.

Funeral service will be Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Reverend Dr. MJ Romano of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society direct or through the funeral home.
