Joyce L., 84, born in Zanesville, OH, died on June 4th, 5 days after her beloved husband, Bob. Wife, mother, and office manager of DeWees Prescriptions.
Bob and Joy married 62 years ago and raised their 3 sons, David, Braden, and Jeffrey in Upper Arlington. Long-time members of First Community Church. They loved their family, friends, patients, and OSU sports. Bob especially loved golfing. They were preceded in death by their parents (Watson and Edith DeWees, Ray and Sylvia Thompson); sons, Braden and Jeffrey; sister and husband (Jane and Robert Smith); brother and wife (Don and Toshi Thompson). Survived by son, David (Deborah); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Susan and Lesley; great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Hannah, Cameron, Tess, and Kenzie; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Annamae Thompson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th at 2 pm at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH with Rev. Gerald Murphy presiding. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service.
