SALLY R. CAUDILL, 74, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, in Fort Wayne. Born in Gary, IN.
Sally graduated from the University of Delaware where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. She worked both as a language teacher in Baltimore and Wilmington, Md. and as a translator with DuPont Chemical. Most recently, she worked as a pre-school teacher in Fort Wayne. Sally was a past member of both the American Association University Women, and the Aboite Township Fire Dept. Auxiliary; and a past volunteer of the Allen County S.P.C.A. She enjoyed many activities including cross stitch, playing bridge, crossword puzzles, gardening, playing the piano, and reading.
Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Donald Caudill of Fort Wayne; brother, James (Sudith) Cox of Louisville, Ky.; cousins, Stanley (Dottie) Shearer of Rolling Meadows, Ill. and Mary Ann Dupon of Columbia, Md.; and her roommate, Pat Tribolet at Covington Manor Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Frances Cox.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at the funeral home.
