Billy Delo Berger Sr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at his residence. He was born on November 5, 1937 in Ashland, WV to the late Walter and Rosie Berger. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Martha and son Billy D. Berger Jr. He is survived by his loving and caring family members; children, Darlene Griffin and Leilani Kua Brown (James) Miles; grandchildren, Tinika Reed, and Larry Griffin Sr, Alvin Jr., Aleka and Jessica Brown, Billy D. Jones, Robert Morris, and Sheree Berger; great grandchildren, Rekieia, Anthony, Antonia, Larry, Jr., Tyler James, Janzane, Alnesha, and Leaisha; sisters, Sylvia (Franklin) Moore of Ashland, WV; best friends, Earl and Yvonne Caliver and Alvester Rawls; a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members and friends. Family will receive friends 10 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007, services at 11 a.m. held at Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, 870 St. Clair Avenue where Elder Billy Newman will be officiating. Entombment at Union Cemetery. Arrangement entrusted to J. MARTIN SMITH MORTUARY.
