Services for Mrs. Frances Bearden Scott, 89, of Windsor Street, who died Friday morning at home are scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Jonathan Bunker officiating.

A native of Shelbyville, Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Edwin Whiteside and Juliet Ryall Bearden. She is survived by her husband, Harry Scott, three daughters, Juliet Scott Harris of Columbia, Mo., Sally Scott Ledbetter of Murfreesboro and Sue Scott Hukari of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, George Harry Scott Jr., of Memphis; a sister, Margaret Bearden Christian of Lynchburg, Va.; seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to the building fund at First Presbyterian Church. Visitation with the family will be held after 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
