On Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, we lost our beloved husband, father, brother and friend after a brief battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 27, 1966, to June David and Ardella Kay Memmott.

Earl grew up in Garland and attended Bear River High School.

He married his soulmate, Karen Thompson, July 4, 2007.

Earl was a gifted tradesman, running a successful concrete business for several years in Cache Valley.

Most recently he worked for Larry H. Miller in Riverdale. Selling cars was a true passion of his. He received a distinguished salesman award.

He also served our country with the Utah National Guard.

If you were his friend you were one for life.
He enjoyed billiards, fishing and weekly barbecues with family, particularly his grandkids. He made many friends through all his hobbies.

Earl has been a significant and positive influence on countless lives through the years. He was truly one of a kind and a straight shooter. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, his daughter, Brandi Chere (Matt) Shaffer, stepson, Casey Wilkerson, stepson, SGT. Cody (Evelyn) Wilkerson, stepson, SGT Steven Andersen; grandkids, Kayla-Jo, Chloee Chere, Brooklyn, Champ and Kaylee; His mother Ardella; brother Keith (Sandra) Peck, parents-in-law Robert and Gayla Thompson, sisters, Gloria and Jan; and many nieces and nephews.

Earl was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Richard Lane Peck; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
