He was born on the family farm, and was the fourth child of five kids. He attended school in Ramah, Colorado, graduating in 1955.
Bob lived his entire life in Calhan. He worked for El Paso County department of transportation for thirty-four years retiring in 1999. Bob enjoyed his job as a heavy equipment operator, he loved farming and to tinker in the yard. His favorite hobby was fishing and maybe a nap while he fished.
In 1963 he married Delphina (Wheat), and from this union three children were born.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Delphina; his infant son; his parents; and siblings, Anna Volison, George Kucerik and Mary Garlick.
Bob is survived by his two daughters and son-in-laws, Cindy and Keith, Peggy and Randy; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Morgan. He is also survived by his sister, Francis Sproch; brother-in-law, Phil Garlick; and many niece and nephews.
