He was born January 20, 1937 in Double Springs, Tennessee to the late Hiram and Sarah Elizabeth (Dunn) Chaffin.
Hubert had an environment and conservation degree. He and his wife Shirley operated Chaffin's Fur & Ginseng for many years. He was a self-made man with many skills and talents.
He leaves behind his wife, Shirley Chaffin (married for 62 years) of Baxter. Son and Daughter-In-Law, Jamie and Kimberly Chaffin of Gainesboro, Tennessee. Daughter and Son-In-Law, Tamara and Roy Hughes of Readyville, Tennessee. Grandchildren, Ryan, Dakota, Elizabeth, Alex, Samantha, Jessica, and Jedidiah. 6 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Hubert was preceded in death by, Son Mark Wynn Chaffin and Several Brother's and Sister's, Horace, Howard, Anna Margaret, Louise, and Reba.
