Beverly J. (Bresnahan) Hoey, 74, died March 29, 2020 at Beverly Hospital, surrounded by her three children, after a prolonged illness. She was born in Beverly to the late William F. and Beverly L. (Lunn) Bresnahan, Jr. She was a graduate of Beverly High School class of 1963 as well as the Salem Commercial Business School.
Beverly retired in 2013 after working for many years as an executive assistant at Eastern Bank. She enjoyed cooking, especially over the holidays. For over 40 years, she hosted family, friends and neighbors on Christmas Eve.
She is survived by a son, William B. Hoey III and his wife Melissa of Beverly; two daughters, Kerri Lynne Hoey of Danvers, Krista J. Hoey-Pankievich and her husband Michael of Peabody; two brothers, Timothy Bresnahan of Vero Beach, FL, William F. Bresnahan III (who passed away just over a month later on 4 May 2020) of Beverly and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas R. Bresnahan.
Laid to rest in the family plot.
