SOUTH BEND-Dale D. Bennett, 78, passed away March 29, 2020 at Sanctuary at Holy Cross. He was born December 10, 1941 in South Bend, IN to Oscar & Roberta (Pifer) Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Betty Bennett, fiancé, Jacqueline Malone and His sisters Joann, Ellen Bennett and his brothers Bill,Pete, Larry Bennett and brother in law Michael Higgins .

Surviving is 1 daughter, Jackie (Leroy) Williams, 2 grandchildren, Armon McKenzie, Jonathon Malone, his brother Rex Bennett (Jacqueline Bennett) and his In-Laws Chester,Roger Higgins and Judy Higgins, Dorothy Edwards, Irena Higgins and Martha (Danny) Brown and a sister, Mamie Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews including a very special niece, Johntella Higgins and a very special nephew,Terry Edwards(Bean).

Dale enjoyed doing scrapbooks about cowboys and spending time with his family and friends. He also cherished his special bond with his brother, Rex.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday, April 3, 2020 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home from 12-1 pm. Due to the COVID-19 there will be a limit of 10 visitors at a time.

A private family burial will be held at a later date in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
