Dorothy Manning, age 80, Gadsden Health Care, died Wednesday, May 27, 1998. She is preceded in death by her son, Donald L. Diffee, Jr. and daughter, Sherrie Ann Diffee Teet. Survivors: sons, James A. Diffee, Thomas A. Diffee and Dennis M. Diffee; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Robert Pilgrim; son-in-law, Jerrell Teet; daughter-in-law, Mary Glasspool; stepson, Jerry Manning; sister-in-law, Lilly Ruth Kaufman, Louisiana; nieces and nephews. She was a native of Etowah County and member of Oak Park Baptist Church. Funeral service Saturday 2 p.m. Crestwood Chapel and burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
