Mrs. Hazel H. Olinger, 67, of Oakhurst Drive, Welch, died in a Welch hospital Friday morning following a short illness. Born in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late C. H. and Mahala Elizabeth Lucas Hinchee. She was a graduate of Marshall College and had been a teacher in McDowell County schools for 44 years. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Welch and the Saint Hilta Guild. Her husband, Robert L. Olinger, died in 1966.
