Helen Ann Edgell, 83, formerly of Raynham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was the wife of the late Jack G. Edgell. Helen was born in Taunton and was a daughter of the late Joseph R. Rose and Mary S. (Almeida). Helen was employed at Poland Springs and later worked an an administrative assistant at the former Paul A. Denver School for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo, trips to the casino and spending time outdoors in her garden. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, in particular, family trips to Ohio to visit her relatives. She is survived by her sons, Michael J. Edgell and his wife Christine of W. Yarmouth, and Julius A. Edgell and his wife Barbara of Swansea; daughters, Rose Marie Blackwell of E. Taunton and Jaqueline L. Frates of Taunton; sisters, Clara Medeiros of Hyannis and Caroline Medeiros of Raynham; step-sisters, Theresa Benoit and Hilda Charette; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph and Anthony Rose, Dorothea Mendes, Mary Andrade and Constance Bernier, and step sister of the late Manuel, Joseph and George Ferreira, and Alice White.
