Mrs. Adela Parker Kendall, 83, of 7116 Euclid av., who retired a year ago after 24 years as an agent for the New York Life Insurance company, died yesterday in her home. She entered the life insurance business in 1922 shortly after the death of her husband, Elmer E., a grain elevator operator. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel at 7659 Jeffery av. Surviving are a son, Parker, of Houston, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Bastien of Provo, Wash.; Mrs. Elizabeth Korol of Manchester, N. H., and Mrs. Elma Daskey of Chicago; eight grandchildren, and a sister.
