He was born Tuesday, December 9, 1947 in Price, Utah the son of Clyde Albert and Margaret Marie (Olson) Behunin. He was raised and educated in Price. Chuck married the love of his life, Judith Kay “Judy” Foster on September 3, 1970 in Ely, Nevada. They lived in many places in the western United State including Price, Utah, Elko, Nevada, Lander, Wyoming, and finally moving to Douglas in 2001 working for Peabody Coal. He worked as heavy equipment operator in some of the largest mines which mined gold, iron ore, and coal
In his spare time, he built seven houses and was involved with may concrete projects in the communities he resided. He also enjoyed doing good deeds for friends in his communities, sidestepping all of the recognition. Charlie loved living in Lander where he enjoyed many outdoor activities.
Chuck cherished and loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Douglas Baptist Church where he was active with many projects.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy Behunin of Douglas; children, Scott Behunin of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Monty (Shawna) Behunin of Gillette, Wyoming, and Misty K. Clearwater of Reno, Nevada; sister, Margaret Miller of Price; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Maxine Roberts.
