She was born on September 4, 1929 in West Buffalo Twp, Union County, the daughter of the late James Mabus and Viola (Rudy) Mabus Wallace. On September 17, 1977, in New Columbia she married the former John Kryder Badger, Jr, he preceded her in death on September 13, 2001.
She was a graduate of Lewisburg High School.
Rosalie worked as a seamstress in the upholstery department at Pennsylvania House Furniture.
She was a member of the Mifflinburg Veterans of Foreign War ladies auxiliary.
Rosalie enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn V. and James R. Yerger of Middleburg, Jeanne M. and Harry M. Whitmire of Middleburg, Frances Pendleton of Florida, two sons, Daniel J. Walter of Huntington, Pa, John F. Walter, Sr of Mifflinburg, one sister, Margarent Moyer of Millmont, Howard F. Wallace of Penns Creek, 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna M. Rusty Prowant, four brothers, James Mabus, Charles Mabus, Warren Mabus, John Wallace, two sisters, Sarah Caruso, Emily Wagner, and three grandchildren, Vickie Sue Yerger, Kelly Irene Yerger, and Laurie Harmon.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 11, with the Rev. Ricky Phillips, officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
