John L. Gregg was aged 91y, 7m, 10d. Although in failing health for several years he was only bedfast for five days. In recent years his sight became impaired and he was nearly totally blind before his death. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Norman Groves, of Milford.
John was the son of William Gregg and Tabitha Leslie of Butler Co., Ohio. He had one sister, Hannah Ann Gregg Beam of Butler Co.
He married Mary Magdalene Creager on Apr. 8, 1868 in Darke Co. OH. They settled on a farm south of Milford, Indiana where they lived until 1899 and then moved to their home in town.
Surviving relatives are son, William Gregg of Mount Gilead, OH; daughters Mrs. John Tom and Mrs. Norman Groves of Milford; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
