Between 1850 and 1860, several associated families originating in SW Tennessee and NW Lauderdale Co., AL, resettled to the rural area SE of Cameron in Milam County, TX. Among these were several households headed by people with surnames such as Story, Pratt, and Stutts.
Monora's father (Thomas F. Story) was one of these Tennessee immigrants. Twins -- Monora and Eudora -- were born to him in May, 1859. Tragically, their Irish-born mother (Biddie Story) died in July, 1859, six weeks after giving birth.
Burial locations for Thomas F. and Biddie Story are unknown in 2021.
Monora and Lutheria resettled (c1915) near Lexington, Lee Co., TX. Ultimately, Monora died at age 93 while visiting a daughter in Galena Park, TX.
