He was a retired estamator and consturction manager for Eshenauer's Inc., a member of the Halifax Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, and Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater, and was a member of Local 520 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. Abe enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising beagles.
He is survived by a son Dennis Orwan and his wife Mary of Dauphin; a stepson, Jay Miller and his wife Darbbie of Harrisburg; a daughter, Diane Koppenhaffer and her husband Robert of Wellsboro, two sisters, Reba Enders of Halifax and Vivian Martz of Fishing Creek, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Memorial serivce was held at the Halifax Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Elder Mason Grunden will officiate. Burial was at Highland Cemetery, Speaseville/ Dauphin.
