A TRIBUTE - Adapted by Evelyn Neff December 1993
"Never again can pain or grief or fear, or any wounds of earth afflict him more. He safely rests within the heart of God whose love keeps you, too, in its fond embrace, making you one with him who all his days made his life a canticle of praise to God, whose name is love. He understood that God works in every thing for good with those who love. So now, allow him joy to dim our grief. In God he waits for us. Rejoice with him, rejoice he lives with God and awaits us, there, where all earth's sorrows dim and only joy remains. Do not be sad. Rejoice with him who is forever glad."

A TRIBUTE - Robert H. Neff, brother to Charles
"We will all miss Charles, our senior leader. His advice, cheerfulness and quiet wit will be missed. However, we will always cherish the love of the woods, lakes and gardens, which he fostered in all of us."
