JOHN FRANKLIN BLOOM, aged 63 years, died Friday evening at 5:30 o'clock at his home at Monterey.
Mr. Bloom was a gardener and for 23 years was employed in the summer colony at Monterey.
He was a member of the Hawley Memorial Church, Monterey.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Woodring Bloom, and these children: John, Alma, George, Sarah, Charles, Ethel, Howard, Clarence, Myrtle and James, at home, and Mrs. Brance McMillan, Unaha, North Carolina. These brothers and sisters, Simon Bloom, Waynesboro Route 4; Andrew Bloom, Greenstone; William Bloom, Waynesboro Route 4; Charles Bloom, Charmian; Mrs. Eliza Staley, Clearspring, Md., Mrs. Joseph Brightener, Cumberland, Md., and Mrs. Sarah Vignes, Los Angeles, California, and one grandson also survive.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock from the Hawley Memorial Church, Monterey, in charge of the Rev. Joseph C. Dickson. Interment will be made in the Fountaindale cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Grove Funeral Home tonight between the hours of
7 and 9 o'clock.
