Deonna loved crocheting, knitting and quilting, but her greatest joy came as she blessed other’s lives by sharing what she created by crocheting, knitting or quilting. Deonna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints and loved serving others. She was a valiant visiting teacher and served as a visiting teacher supervisor. She also served in the Cub Scouting program for many years and had many humorous stories that she shared often. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Deonna is survived by her children, Lester (Polly) Van Nosdol of Salem, UT, Barton Van Nosdol of Richfield, UT and Shauna (David) McCoy of Lehi, UT, 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, sister, Ruby Phillips and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, seven siblings, son, Melvin Couchis, daughter, Raeola Van Nosdol and a grandson, George Robert Couchis.
Graveside services will be Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, UT.
