Milton E. Olson, Route 1, died Feb. 17, 1982 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at the age of 81.
Services were held Feb. 20 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Rev. Kenneth Manfolk officiating. The soloist was Joyce Benson accompanied by Glenna Reierson at the organ.
Pallbearers were Clarence, Wesley, Luverne, Virgil and Harley Sjodahl and Harold Olson. Internment in Birchwood Cemetery.
Mr. Olson was born in Renville, Minn., March 7, 1900 to Andrew and Ingred (Anderson) Olson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He moved to Pine City about 1920. He worked in a lumber yard in Scotia, California for a number of years. He returned to Minnesota about 1930 and engaged in dairy farming at his parents farm in Rock Creek.
He married Martha Dahlstrom June 20, 1933 in Rush City and they later purchased his parents home place, where he lived until his death.
He was a member of the Pine Grove Lutheran Church and helped in the transformation of that church to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, of which he was a member.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; one son, Marlin; one brother Elvin, Hinckley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
