Martha Ragnhild Olson died suddenly of a heart attack November 19, 1984, at the age of 80.
Services were held on Nov. 21 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Kenneth Manfolk officiating. The organist was Glenna Reierson and soloist, Joyce Benson.
Pallbearers were all brothers, Dale, Kenneth, Harold, Charles, Cliff and Ronald Olson, cousins to Mrs. Olson. Internment was at Birchwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Olson was born Nov. 13, 1904 to John and Mary Dahlstrom in Arvika, Sweden. She moved to the Rock Creek area with her parents at the age two. She lived in that area all her life and worked at the Erickson store in Rock Creek and The Fair Store in Pine City. She was united in marriage to Milton Olson June 20, 1933. Together, they farmed until their retirement.
She was active in the Pine Grove Lutheran Church which later was moved to Pine City and became Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and weaving rugs on her loom in the earlier years of her life.
She is survived by one son, Marlin, two sisters, Jennie Cederberg of Minneapolis and Carrie Mattson of Hood River, Oregon; two brothers, William Dahlstrom of Medford, Oregon and Cliff Dahlstrom of Rush City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Milton, and two brothers, Raymond and Walford Dahlstrom.
