Helen Yagow Zuehlke, 96, of Mountain Home died Sunday, January 4, 2004 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born July 27, 1907 the daughter of Fred W. and Mary L. Winter Yagow. She married the late Reynold J. Zuehlke, March 27, 1932 at Altamont, Illinois. Mrs. Zuehlke was a bookkeeper/cashier for 15 years for Silver Burdett Educational Book Publishers before moving to Mountain Home from Itasca, Illinois in 1968. She was a member of the North Mountain Home Extension club, the Gamaliel Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Redeemer AAL Branch 4392, Redeemer Lutheran Church Ladies Guild and the Gamaliel Girls Club.

Survivors: She is survived by two sons, Donald Zuehlke of Covington, Georgia and Alfred (Janet) Zuehlke of Council Bluffs, Iowa; five grandchildren, Sandra Franklin of Covington, Georgia, Tomas Zuehlke of Orland Park, Illinois, Keith Zuehlke, Kevin Zuehlke and Kim Heitman all of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and one brother, Fred Yagow of Collinsville, Illinois.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.

Visitation: Visitation for Mrs. Zuehlke will be from 5:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, January 6 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home.

Funeral: Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Reverend Marvin Clausen officiating.

Burial: Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
