I would like to correct your marriage of Jacob Hoover to Margaret Smeal, I have a copy of the marriage "paper" submitted with Margret application for military pension from the death of her son James at Gettysburg Battle 1865- The marriage was on 28 July 1831, both Margaret FRY and James Hoover were widows, her from Centre County and him from Clearfield Co. Margaret applied for the pension 2 June 1866, in 1859 being unable to support his family and in poor health Jacob went to live with his children from his first marriage. I have all these documents from her application for pension. Please correct your find a grave information as per these documents it is incorrect, Margarets last name on the marriage paper is FRY, mentioned twice
