Beauty in Detail Marks Wedding
DEER LODGE, Jun 7. (Special) Beauty In detail marked the wedding solemnized Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, when Miss Kathryn Albee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Albee, became the bride of Charles Martin Holstrom, son of Mrs. Belle Holstrom of Anaconda. The Rev. Patrick Casey of Drummond officiated in the presence of a large assemblage of relatives and friend of the couple.

Standards of white lilacs, honey suckle and pink peonies were banked against the altar rail and cathedral tapers glowed softly from the altar and window recesses, forming a charming setting for the bridal party.

Usher were Robert Wyckoff of Deer Lodge and Richard Albee of Wisdom.

At the entrance of the bridal party, the wedding march from Lohengrin was played by Mrs. Erma Bagley, presiding at the organ. Mendelssohn's wedding march was used as the recessional and during the impressive service, Mrs. Kathleen Dunn Nelson sang "Ava Marie and "Agnus Dei."

The bride, given hi marriage by her father, wore an exquisite Pagan model of white starched marquisette fashioned with fitted bodice, long, snug sleeves reaching points over the hands and the full sweep of the skirt appliquéd with subtle motifs of Roseville' lace. Her fingertip veil was worn with a Juliet cap of blue forget-me-nots. She carried a spray bouquet of Talisman roses, forget-me-nots and bridal wreath.

The matron of honor, Mr. Don Dllling of Pullman, Wash., was lovely in turquoise blue mousseline de soie distinguished by square neckline, short puffed sleeves and a swirling skirt. She wore a close fitting hat of fresh flower and carried a Colonial bouquet. Miss Vivian Hansen, maid of honor, Deer Lodge, and Miss Patricia Brennan, bridesmaid, of Great Fall were gowned in the identical style of the matron of honor, Miss Hansen's gown being blue and Miss Brennan in soft yellow. John Moor of Anaconda was best man.

The bride, is a member of a prominent Deer Lodge family, was graduated from Powell. county high school the University of Montana, and took post-graduate work at the University of California. She is affiliated with the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She has been a member of the teaching staff of the Elliston schools for the last few years.

The bridegroom was graduated from the Anaconda high school and the University of Montana. He Is a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He is employed as a research chemist for the Anaconda Copper Mining company. The newlyweds left Monday evening by motor for a honeymoon trip to coast cities and Victoria, B. C. Upon their return June 20, they will make their home in the Brentwood apartments. Anaconda.

Mrs. Holstrom, 12534 Ashwood Drive, died April 18, 1981, in Boswell Hospital. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and PEO Sisterhood.

Surviving are her husband, Charles; children, Susan Quande and Jack, and a granddaughter.

Mrs. Holstrom died in a hospital there Saturday after a brief illness. She and her husband left Butte in 1975 after he retired as manager of Montana metallurgical operations for the Anaconda Copper Co.

She was born in August 1916 to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Albee. She attended Deer Lodge schools -and graduated from the University of Montana. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and the Butte Chapter of PEO. Also surviving are daughter, Susan Quande of Missoula: son, Jack of Helena; and one granddaughter.
