Daniel married Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Bell in 1901 according to the 1910 census. He had a son when he married Mollie and according to the census his name was Loy Masters. Not sure who his mother was.
What is known is that grandma Mollie told several people including my mother that she had a very good friend who was very sick and she had a son that she needed taken care of after she passed away so grandma Mollie promised to take care of the boy. We think that after her friend passed away she married Daniel and took care of the boy like she promised.
His name was Loy Masters.
Daniel and Mollie had 3 children.
