Joe Esmel Lujan passed away after a courageous battle with diabetes at the age of 71. He was born to Lorenzo and Aleja Lujan. On December 13, 1962 he married his soul mate, Janet Duncan in Ogden, Utah. Joe loved to cook and retired from Hill Air Force Base as a chef. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing. Joe volunteered at the Sunset City Fire Department for several years. Joe was a member of the LDS Church and did work for the LDS Cannery. He is survived by his wife, Janet Duncan Lujan, two sons, Scott (Jackie), LeRoy (Stacie), 3 brothers, Albert (Laura), Lorenzo "Tito" (Judy) and Mike (Connie); six sisters, Tillie, Ercilia, Evelyn, Arcilia (David), Frances, Delores; four grandchildren, Jesse (Kim), Taylor, McKenzie, Sage and one great granddaughter, Jayci Lynn. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, David Robert, two brothers, Sostenes and Bennie.
