In 1958 Bruce graduated from Littleton High School. He went on to attend Franklin Technical Institute of Boston where he graduated in 1960. In 1995 he retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company after 30 years. He continued his career at Kimball-Cooke Insurance Agency in Athol MA and retired in 2010.

In 1986 Bruce retired as a Staff Sergeant from the U.S. Army Reserves after 21 years of honorable service.

He was a 50 year member of the Tahattahan Masonic Lodge of Littleton, MA. Bruce was also a devoted member of the Clan Campbell Society and served on the board of directors of the Scottish Highland Games of New Hampshire. He belonged to Inspire, a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Group in Nashua, where he spent countless mornings developing new friendships. Bruce generously gave many hours on various boards including Pepperell Republican Town Committee, Pepperell Housing Authority and the Pepperell Business Association. He was also a Notary Public and Justice of the Peace.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid camper, spending many summers in Maine. He loved to travel and was grateful to have the opportunity to visit Scotland twice in his lifetime. He loved to read, was passionate about his son and granddaughter's service to the Army, but his greatest joy was when he was surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.

He was the oldest of 2 siblings, the late Jane (Campbell) Flood and Mary Campbell of Hebron NH. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years and high school sweetheart, Carolyn J. (Kimball) Campbell; three daughters and a son; grandchildren.

Interment with military honors at the Pepperell Cemetery Association on Park Street in Pepperell, MA.
